Robert C. Kelton Memorial Trophy 1927 - 2006

This award was first presented at the 2007 ISI Lake Placid Championships in recognition of “Bob” who worked with the legendary Robert Unger to start this competition in 1969. Bob also served as President of the Ice Skating Institute of America from 1973 – 1975 and authored the first ISIA – USFSA Joint Statement of Policy, paving the way for all skaters to participate in events like the ISI Lake Placid Championships.

This competition is the first ISI competition to become an annual event. It is the longest running ISI competition.

This award is presented to the team which accumulates the highest total points at end of the competition.
